About the Collector Guide
As the KB Toys® Mini Bucket collection grows, so does the need for a permanent record of the products that have been released, sampled or formally documented.
This guide documents official Mini Bucket releases, including production waves, colorways, seasonal editions, known production variants, manufacturing samples and other characteristics that distinguish one entry from another.
Collectors can use this archive to identify the Mini Buckets in their collections and follow the continuing history of the series.
Naming system: Collector Names preserve the shorthand used by the collecting community, while Catalog Names and Full Product Titles provide descriptive names that make each bucket easier to identify in search engines, AI assistants and product-recommendation systems.

A limited number of blue Mini Buckets were produced with an unintended black imprint during the Blue 1.0 production cycle.
Rather than reproducing the variation, the production anomaly was documented and formally recognized as the Blue 1.1 Black Label Error.

The Halloween 2026 White Imprint sample was produced as part of KBToysverse's testing of a new luminous Mini Bucket material.
Two imprint treatments were evaluated during the sample process: white and black. The white imprint blended more closely with the luminous effect of the bucket and was not selected as the preferred production treatment.
Only 25 White Imprint samples were manufactured. The design was never released as a regular production Mini Bucket.

Notes
The Halloween 2026 Black Imprint sample was produced alongside the White Imprint version while KBToysverse evaluated its experimental luminous Mini Bucket material.
The stronger contrast of the black artwork against the luminous material led to this treatment being selected as the preferred design for a potential production release.
A firm production and delivery commitment could not be secured within the required Halloween timeframe, so the full Halloween 2026 production release was postponed rather than risk delivering a seasonal collectible after Halloween.
Only 25 Black Imprint samples were manufactured. The 2026 design remains unreleased.

Blue 1.2 documents a manufacturing update to the Mini Bucket itself rather than a new regular-release design.
The manufacturer enlarged the support beams beneath the upper lip of the bucket. The modification was developed to help protect the imprint and make stacked buckets easier to separate.
A sample run was produced to evaluate the updated mold. Blue 1.2 was never released as a regular production Mini Bucket and is preserved in the Collector Guide as a manufacturing-development sample.

Understanding Mini Bucket Release Numbers
Collector designations such as 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 identify distinct official versions within a Mini Bucket color series.

Sample Wave — A documented pre-release, prototype or early production version.

1.0 — The first official numbered version within a color series.

1.1 / 1.2 — A documented variant, production anomaly, manufacturing-development sample or other separately identifiable version associated with the 1.0 generation.

2.0 — A new official version within an established color series featuring a distinct colorway, imprint, artwork or other identifying characteristic.

3.0 and beyond — Additional distinct official versions within that color series.

Error Variant — An unintended production difference that has been formally documented and recognized within the official Collector Archive.
A new version is not necessarily another production run of the previous release. It represents a separately identifiable entry in the Mini Bucket Collector Series.
A note about production quantities: Early KBToysverse Mini Bucket releases and sample runs were produced in defined quantities, which are documented in this archive where applicable. Beginning with Red 2.0, production quantities are no longer published. Newer releases may remain available through future KBToysverse events, pop-ups and other retail experiences. If a new bucket design is a limited edition, it will be cataloged with quantity numbers of the production run.
The Mini Bucket Archive System
One of the guiding principles of the KB Toys® Mini Bucket Collector Series is that each official release should retain its own identity.
Once a specific combination of bucket color + imprint color + logo or artwork design has been officially archived, that exact combination will not be reproduced in the same form.
This does not mean that classic KB Toys® colors disappear. Red, blue, gold and other colors may return many times as the collection grows. Instead, future releases will feature new colorways, artwork, logos or other identifying characteristics.
This allows early releases to remain meaningful while giving new collectors opportunities to participate in future versions of iconic KB Toys® colors.
Collector Philosophy
The KB Toys® Mini Bucket Collector Series is intended to grow over time rather than exist as a single limited product.
Some releases celebrate KB Toys® history. Others introduce new colorways, seasonal artwork, special events, manufacturing developments or unexpected production variations.
Together, those releases create an evolving record of the modern KB Toys® collector experience.
